Senior Manager, Procurement

MongoDB is looking for a Senior Manager, Procurement (Software) to support our growing company's needs. This role requires a strategic thinker, but also someone who is prepared to “roll up their sleeves.” It also requires interaction across the organization, globally. The right candidate will be a builder with strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills.

This position will work in the Procurement Team managing procurement analyst and supporting the company in creating and implementing a category strategy for global Software. This role is based in the New York office and will be reporting to the Head of Procurement & Travel who is also based in New York. Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for global Software contracts, leading category strategic initiatives and managing a team of procurement analysts

• Collaborate cross-functionally across the organization with stakeholders and the global Legal team to ensure vendor compliance and requirements are met

• Develop and execute a Software Category Management strategy and roadmap aligned with company growth and technology goals

• Own and manage a pipeline of software renewals, sourcing initiatives, and supplier engagements, ensuring proper planning and execution across the organization
