People Business Partner, Lyft Urban Solutions

Lyft Urban Solutions (LUS) creates bikeshare programs that riders love, cities need, and operators value. We design, build and support the bikes and stations technology behind bikeshare programs in cities around the world, including Bixi. Our Montreal team sits at the heart of that work, bringing together engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, operations, marketing and commercial teams under one roof.

As the People Business Partner for LUS, you'll be the go-to people partner, and will also serve as the primary People lead for the Montreal site. You'll translate business priorities into practical people plans, help managers lead through complex people issues, and make sure our programs land properly in a Quebec context.

You'll report into the Senior People Business Partner for our Global Growth team, and work closely with Employee Relations, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, People Operations and Legal.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being close to the business. Success looks like a deep understanding of the team’s objectives, metrics, performance, and opportunities in order to craft People strategies that enable those objectives. You are equally comfortable coaching a new manager through a difficult conversation and helping a director think through how their team should be structured
